About the role
This full-time Boutique Manager position at Hansen and Gretel offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our flagship store in the suburb of Armadale, Victoria. As the Boutique Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, overseeing daily store operations, and fostering a positive and engaging customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Styling & Customer Experience:
- Act as the lead stylist in-store, offering personalised fashion advice and creating a curated experience for every customer.
- Develop deep relationships with customers to understand their unique style preferences, helping them select pieces that elevate their wardrobe.
- Host styling sessions, events, and exclusive appointments, making each customer feel valued and inspired by our collections.
Sales & Customer Engagement:
- Drive store sales and achieve monthly targets while ensuring an elevated customer experience.
- Inspire the team to offer exceptional styling services, building customer loyalty and enhancing the Hansen & Gretel brand reputation.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and motivate a small team, encouraging a supportive, collaborative work environment.
- Coach team members on delivering styling advice, creating a cohesive and knowledgeable styling team.
Store Operations:
- Oversee inventory management, visual merchandising, and store presentation to align with brand standards.
- Conduct regular sales analysis and reporting, providing insights to improve store performance.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
Community Engagement:
- Represent Hansen & Gretel within the local community, building strong relationships and driving brand awareness.
What we're looking for
- Significant experience in retail management, preferably within the fashion or luxury goods industry
- Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and motivating a retail team to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Strong understanding of inventory management, visual merchandising, and store operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and staff
- Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation and customer experience
- Adaptable and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
- Passion for the fashion industry and a deep understanding of current trends and consumer behaviour

GARMENT TECH / PRODUCTION MANAGER

Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Garment Tech / Production Manager located in Sydney, NSW. As a Garment Tech / Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of garment production, including, fit and quality control, fabric sourcing, and managing production timelines. You will collaborate with designers, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure seamless production processes and high-quality garments to graded spec.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of garment production processes, including pattern making, fit and quality control, and fabric sourcing
- Proven experience in managing production timelines and coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in the fashion industry is a plus
- Previous experience as a Garment Tech or Production Manager in the fashion industry is preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in fashion design or a related field
