STORE MANAGER - ARMADALE BOUTIQUE 

 

ROLE DESCRIPTION 

Hansen & Gretel is an Australian contemporary fashion label known for its effortless, feminine, and directional designs. With strong growth across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels, we are seeking a passionate and driven Store Manager to lead our Armadale boutique. This role is integral to delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales performance, and leading a high-performing team that reflects the Hansen & Gretel brand values.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SALES & CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

  • Drive sales performance to achieve and exceed store KPIs, revenue, and profitability targets.

  • Deliver an exceptional and personalised customer experience that reflects the brand ethos.

  • Build strong client relationships through styling, clienteling, and after-sales care.

  • Proactively manage VIP customers and contribute to building a loyal customer base.

TEAM LEADERSHIP & DEVELOPMENT 

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a passionate team of casual stylists..

  • Lead by example in customer service, styling, and brand presentation.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and rostering.

  • Foster a collaborative and positive culture aligned with Hansen & Gretel’s values.

OPERATIONS & STORE MANAGER

  • Oversee daily operations including rostering, stock management, VM, and reporting.

  • Maintain visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS, and retail operational procedures.

  • Manage stock levels, coordinate deliveries, and monitor shrinkage.

  • Provide weekly sales, customer, and feedback reports to head office.

MARKETING AND BRAND REPRESENTATION 

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to activate retail events and campaigns.

  • Drive in-store activations, styling sessions, and VIP events to build community engagement.

  • Represent Hansen & Gretel in a professional, brand-aligned manner at all times.

KEY SKILLS 

  • Minimum 2 years experience in store management within premium or contemporary fashion retail.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving commercial outcomes.

  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on clienteling and styling.

  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.

  • Passion for fashion, styling, and delivering elevated customer experiences.

  • Proficiency in retail systems (POS, rostering software).
